{"id":929,"date":"2026-09-02T13:35:46","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T13:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sokasoga.website\/nbcsoka\/bagamoyo-braces-for-colourful-international-arts-and-culture-festival-in-october-1118.html"},"modified":"2026-09-02T13:35:46","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T13:35:46","slug":"bagamoyo-braces-for-colourful-international-arts-and-culture-festival-in-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sokasoga.website\/ltv\/bagamoyo-braces-for-colourful-international-arts-and-culture-festival-in-october\/","title":{"rendered":"Bagamoyo braces for colourful International Arts and Culture Festival in October \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"media_block\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailynews.co.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-09-02-at-15.46.00-1.jpeg\" class=\"media_thumbnail\"><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailynews.co.tz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WhatsApp-Image-2026-09-02-at-15.46.00-1.jpeg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><span>BAGAMOYO:<\/span> <\/strong>THE Bagamoyo Arts and Culture Institute (TaSUBa) has officially announced the 44th Bagamoyo International Arts and Culture Festival, which will take place from October 28 to 31, 2026, with a special pre-festival gala scheduled for October 27.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to journalists in Bagamoyo, Acting Principal of TaSUBa, Gabriel Kiiza, said the festival will bring together artists, cultural stakeholders, business operators and visitors from Tanzania and abroad to promote arts, culture and tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Kiiza said this year\u2019s festival will feature stage performances, traditional crafts exhibitions, displays by public and private institutions, film screenings, workshops and artistic training, as well as guided tours of Bagamoyo\u2019s historical and cultural heritage sites.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that 146 groups have applied to participate, including 104 local groups and 42 international groups.
